The Groove series is minimalistic and subtle, yet packs a visually bold punch. The series is inspired by characteristics from bronze age pottery works and serves the need to create a replacement for the 'traditional bowl'. The works are a new take on bronze age works for the modern age. The Groove collection uses dark brown clay with a slightly glossy turquoise glaze exterior, and terracotta clay with a semi-glossy ochre glaze. The colour pallet of this collection is subdue yet bold, creating impressive statement pieces. The handmade grooves in each piece's body is the signature mark and repeated theme of this series, a modern marking with ancient connotations, making them the perfect ‘groovy’ addition to any room or table.
